Who's faster than a lightning strike?
More powerful than dynamite?
Who's smaller than a bumblebee?
It's Super Flea, to the rescue!
And with his sleepy sidekick Mighty Mutt,
his mission is to rid the world of every evil nut.

When last we left our heroes they were penned up in the pound
Confined behind a combination lock
Now Super Flea's antenae can discern an urgent sound
Librarians in trouble down the block.
"That reminds me, I've a book," says Flea, "That's three weeks overdue."
He hikes it out of Mighty's tangled fur.
Houdini's Guide to Picking Locks - Flea looks up what to do,
Then picks the lock and exits in a blur!

What's that furball in the sky?
Some shaggy object drifting by?
It's falling toward the library -
It's Super Flea to the rescue!
Hauling Mighty Mut aloft by his big toe,
Flea's power leap can take them any place they need to go.

Meanwhile, two librarians are tied up at the desk,
Watching helpless as their books are being destroyed.
by a vaccuum-like contraption hooked in manners most grotesque
to the forehead of a leering humanoid.
"I'm a genius," Dr. Knowital is chuckling to himself.
"So grand to see my evil plan unfurled.
I'll suck up all this knowledge, leaving blank books on the shelf.
When all the words are mine, I'll rule the world!"

But what's that shadow flitting past?
Something furry fat and fast
Stop the presses! Can it be?
It's Super Flea, to the rescue!
Though Mighty Mutt appears to be asleep,
We're certain Dr. Knowital is now in trouble deep.

We watch the Doctor's eyes pop as his bottom climbs the air,
Being lifted by the flea's atomic might.
But then Flea sees the waistband of the doctor's underwear -
It's woven out of Siphonapterite!
Flea drops the Doc and hits the floor, attempting to deflect
Deadly S-Rays from the planet of his birth
Can Super Flea withstand the undies' crippling effect
Or will the evil doctor rule the Earth?

But what's that smell like dirty socks?
More lumpy than a pregnant ox
As hairy as a coconut -
It's Mighty Mutt, sleeping soundly!
But zoom in on the lid of his left eye
And we clearly see he's peeking, planning something on the sly

Slow motion shows the Doctor stepping over Mighty's tail.
As it lifts we hope it's stronger than it looks.
See Dr. K's expression of ironic self betrayal
As he trips and starts an avalanch of books!
A monstrous pile of literature has burried Dr. K.
Super Flea flips lightly to his feet
And as he's cleaning up and thinking, "That's it for today!"
His antennae sense new trouble down the street!

What's flying toward that burning school?
Some furry fire fighting tool? No!
Children point and shout with glee,
"It's Super Flea to the rescue!"
"Oh wait!" shouts Flea, "That book was overdue!"
He flips it out, then trips, and flap! He's trapped in chapter two!

Now we must leave our heroes falling feckless toward the fire,
Flea squished inside a book about Houdini.
Will he perform the sly escape tradition doth require,
or will he just be roasted like a weenie?
(Spoken) Tune in again next week, kids, and thrill to the further
adventures of your favorite six-legged paracitic superhero...
